Every grooming appointment starts with a wellness checkup, followed a comfort grooming plan.

Safety First, we consider any special care needs your dog may have. Such as, a physical limitation or disability, or emotional concerns, like anxiety or fearfulness. Then we create a plan that starts with accommodating those special needs.

We have carefully crafted solutions to some common situations to make them quick and easy to customize and accommodate for your dog's Comfort Care Plan.

Special Care Handling

  • Seniors

  • Puppies

  • Sensitive/Fearful

  • Disabilities

APPEALING TO THEIR SENSES

Once safety and special care needs are fully considered in the plan, the next step is appealing to your dog's senses... literally their senses: smell, touch, taste, sight and hearing. And this is how we'll ensure their happiness.

MUSIC: Does your dog respond to music?

Don't laugh, they may not understand what music is but many dogs respond in a positive way to music, especially if their humans do.

We give you the option to choose music for your dog to listen to during grooming. Or we can experiment to find what are the most soothing or positively stimulating sounds for your dog.

You're laughing again, aren't you?
DOGTV creates content just for dogs, and it's all very scientific. Using colors dogs see and sounds dogs hear, they create content that not only captures and keeps their attention, but actually helps to calm anxious nerves, stimulate curiosity and entertain them.

How About TV?

AROMATHERAPY
Dogs have a powerful sense of smell. They possess up to 300 million olfactory receptors in their noses, compared to about 6 million in us. And the part of a dog's brain that is devoted to analyzing smell is about 40 times greater than ours.

Certain scents can provoke a positive response in dogs, making them happy, relaxed, excited, etc.. There are some great products on the market specifically for dogs, and designed to help relax and calm them naturally and without any harsh chemicals.
